hi Becky! I just sent in my application for '05-'06. I graduated from High School last year. All I know is that God is faithful. If he wants you there, He will give you strength. I'd love to hear from you.

Erica, Where are you from? I live in Alberta Canada and have been out to Vancouver Island many times. It is gorgeous out there! I'm sure you'll have a blast! I know a girl who is at Capernwray on Thetis Island right now, and she loves it! Feel free to e-mail me.

Hello Laura,

My name is Nick and I went to Capernwray England. I believe it was around 3 years ago. I had just wanted to get away from home. I was to board around the house. I love to travel so I just searched on the internet for a bible school. I had never heard of capernwray before. I just found it from searching. Anyway I told a friend of mine I was going and his dad wanted to go more than he did. His dad was the missions pastor at my church so he contacted the missionaries in Europe and we were able to travel around Europe before we went to school. It was great, alott of fun. I was so glad I found this school. The staff were so nice and I made so many friends. I didn't have enough money to stay there through the whole year. So if you plan on going make sure you have enough cash to stay, beacause you'll want to. I came to this website because of the memories I have if you decide on going e-mail me back please. Where you from anyway? I just moved from Ca. to NC. Far from where I use to live huh. O.K. I'm probly borring you, so write back soon.

I am still praying about it but there is a chance that I will be there for the Fall 2005 year. I am from the U.S. so I won't be too far from home but I have never left home yet so it will be trying for me no matter where I go. Know that you are not alone, there are others just like you and God knows exactly what you are going through. In His Grace, Ashlee

Hi Jennifer,
I attended Winter Bible School at Capernwray Hall in 2003-2004. I was 20 years old, half-way through my time at University when I attended. Being at Capernwray has been one of the best experiences of my life.
Not only is there powerful, impactful teaching from God's Word, but the experience of spending 6 months devoted to discovering more about God, more about myself, and my relationship to Him was an amazing, beautiful, and sometimes difficult process. I grew and was challenged at Capernwray more than I had ever been before. Capernwray allowed me to experience several things that I will always treasure: a deeper understanding of God's Word and His love for me. I also gained a new perspective on Christianity as I met brothers and sisters in Christ from all over the world--that was an powerful experience too!
The faculty, staff, and other students were just wonderful! Capernwray has an environment that encourages spiritual and personal growth, learning, and fellowship. It is a wonderful place and I would highly recommend it to anyone, if they feel God is calling them to attend.
I learned so much. I made solid friendships, and most of all, my relationship with my Savior deepened. If you feel this is where God wants you, He can use Capernwray very powerfully in your life, as He did in mine. I hope this helps. Feel free to email me with any questions
His Peace to you, Christi

I attended Capernwray in 1968/69 and can say it was life changing. If you're looking for a short term Bible school with intense Bible training then this is the school for you. I don't know how the school has changed over the years, but from what I've seen on the web site, it's a great place.

Gail

I just don't care for the cessationalist teachings of people like John MacArthur or Hank Hanegraaf. Also, some of my former classmates have responded in a harsh, unChristlike way to some of my friendly, well-meaning e-mails since my going to that school.

Which particular Capernwray Bible School did you go to, Anonymous? This sounds very uncharacteristic of many other people's experiences! You can find more on our past students' database, at http://www.capernwray.org.uk/alumni
